    • Solid driver

Bought new in 2011. Has been a solid, reliable vehicle. Great to haul dogs or home improvement stuff without having to get the truck out. Great traction on slop roads. Easy to park. Unfortunately, some idiot rear-ended it at 50 mph. Took a solid hit with zero passenger injuries. Insurance totaled it and I'm beyond sad. Little SUV had 235,000 miles and still ran strong with no engine or transmission issues. Just basic preventative maintenance.

My CRV is from 2011 and has been just about bullet proof. Bought used in 2016 and have not had any really major issues for most of the time we have had it. It did have the failed A/C compressor and we missed the extended recall warranty extension by a few months. Car is now 15 years old with 123K miles on it. Just had to replace the Catalytic which was pricey at $1400. Also had to do Alternator at about $800. Just replaced some power steering lines that rusted which was about $300. Exterior as no major rust on body. There is some surface rust under the car as to be expected as we live in NY State with salt on the winter roads. Car still drives great and gets good gas mileage for an SUV. Very comfortable for a family of four when traveling with all our stuff. The all time AWD is awesome in the snow. Love this car !

Owned by elderly woman who had all maintenance done timely. Driven primarily around town. Very clean.
